JUTAJAISET
Jutajaiset is a warm and atmospheric autumn festival in Rovaniemi, celebrating the rich northern traditions of folk dance, folk music, and community culture. In 2025, the festival will take place for the 52nd time on September 5–6 as part of Rovaniemi Week, in collaboration with the City of Rovaniemi.
Jutajaiset gathers local and visiting enthusiasts and professionals in folk dance and music to enjoy shared experiences, learn new skills, and celebrate traditions with fresh interpretations. The festival offers a diverse program of courses, workshops, and concerts, combining traditional elements with contemporary perspectives. The event welcomes everyone interested in folklore, dancers and musicians of all ages, and culturally curious audiences.
